New Delhi – During a practice crossing of a river in the Daulat Beg Oldi district of Ladakh, a T-72 tank had an accident. The water level abruptly rose as the tank crossed the river. A JCO was among the five troops that perished in this incident.
The incident took place at approximately one in the morning. The five bodies have all been found. Authorities reported that the mishap happened 148 kilometers from Chushul, close to Mandir Mor. PRO PS Sindhu stated that we are looking into the facts in a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar.
RIS MR K Reddy, DFR Bhupendra Negi, LD Akdum Tayabam, Havildar A Khan (6255 FD Workshop), and CFN Nagaraj P (LRW) are the names of the troops who perished in the disaster.
