Honoring Manohar Joshi
Manohar Joshi, the former chief minister of Maharashtra and speaker of the Lok Sabha, received tributes from political figures.Joshi has made enormous contributions to politics, society, and education, according to Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. In addition to the Rajya Sabha, Gandhi served in the Legislative Council, Assembly, and Lok Sabha. He became the chief minister and a member of Parliament after rising from the position of corporator and Mumbai mayor. He was strict in both his personal and professional lives, according to Fadnavis.
With Joshi’s departure, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar declared that a leader defending the rights of Marathi people has entered the annals of history. He remarked, “The cultured leader who fought for the just rights of Marathi people has passed away with the demise of Shiv Sena’s senior leader, former Chief Minister Manohar Joshi.”
According to former Union minister and NCP founder Sharad Pawar, Joshi was regarded in political circles as a direct leader who made an effort to complete tasks. Within the political community, he was well-known for his audacious work style and candor. Manohar Joshi was regarded as Shiv Sena leader Balasaheb Thackeray’s most reliable ally.
He led by example and put in a lot of effort to see the state of Maharashtra developed when he was the Chief Minister. He played a key role in the installation of an equestrian statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji on Parliament grounds during his time as Speaker of the Lok Sabha. I’m sending the Joshi family my sympathy.
