Bollywood star Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan married fitness instructor Nupur Shikhare on January 3 in Mumbai. They had been dating for a long time. Reena Dutta, Aamir’s first wife, Kiran Rao, his ex-wife, Junaid Khan and Azad, as well as Nupur’s mother Pritam Shikhare, were all spotted looking dapper for the lavish wedding. Instead, Nupur jogged the eight kilometres to the wedding location and then dressed in gym vest and shorts to fulfill the formalities.
On Wednesday, the couple exchanged vows and officially became married. Ira addressed the crowd on stage in a video that has gone viral on the internet. “I accept thee, Nupur Shikhare, as my legitimate spouse,” she uttered. Ira Khan, I take thee as my lawful wife, declared Nupur Shikhare.
Following their vow exchange and “I do,” Ira said goodbye to Nupur and informed her that her husband was going to take a shower. Another video showed Aamir extending a warm welcome to the “baraatis.” Aamir shook hands with each of the other guests and gave his son-in-law Nupur a firm embrace. Aamir was seen greeting Mukesh and Nita Ambani, who also graced the occasion.
For the big day, Ira looked stunning in pastel pink dhoti pants. According to reports, on January 13, the couple will throw a lavish reception in Mumbai, which is anticipated to be attended by the elite of the Bollywood film industry.
