The newest development in the terrifying Pune Porsche case is the arrest of two doctors and a peon for allegedly falsifying the blood test results of the 17-year-old driver who killed two 24-year-old software developers during a late-night intoxicated drive.
The Pune Crime Branch has detained Drs. Ajay Tawade and Hari Harnor of Sasoon Hospital while it looks into the case that has caused national indignation. According to the Pune Police, “We discovered during the investigation that Srihari Halnor replaced this (the blood samples) on the orders of the HOD Forensic Medicine Department of Sassoon, Dr. Ajay Tawre.”

The teenager comes from a well-known real estate family, and it is said that his grandfather and father attempted to sway the court system in order to protect him.
The Juvenile Justice Act has led to the arrest of the teen’s father.
