BJP’s Nayab Saini Live Update 2024 Thirteen MLAs, including two women, have been included in the new cabinet. Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya administered the oath of office and secrecy at the swearing-in ceremony held in Panchkula, Haryana.
Those who were administered the oath of ministerial post and secrecy in the cabinet include – Anil Vij, Arvind Kumar Sharma, Shyam Singh Rana, Ranbir Singh Gangwa, Krishna Bedi, Krishna Lal Panwar, Rao Narbir Singh, Mahipal Dhanda, Vipul Goyal, Shruti. Chaudhary, Aarti Singh Rao, Rajesh Nagar and Gaurav Gautam.
On October 16, Mr Saini was elected the BJP legislature party leader, following which party leaders staked claim to form the next government in the state. The event, organized on the occasion of ‘Valmiki Jayanti’, is being seen as an attempt to establish the BJP’s ‘pro-Dalit’ image in political circles.
Interestingly, during the assembly election campaign, the BJP’s outreach to woo ‘Dalits’ was evident, and it succeeded in increasing its numbers in the Scheduled Caste (SC) reserved category seats. In Haryana, there are 17 reserved seats, and in the 2024 assembly elections the BJP won eight seats compared to 2019, when it had five.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and senior party leaders including several Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states were present on the occasion.
The BJP successfully retained its decade-old rule in Haryana with its third consecutive victory by winning 48 seats in the 90-member Haryana State Assembly in the 2024 assembly elections.
Earlier in the day, the Supreme Court refused to stay the swearing-in ceremony of the Nayab Singh Saini-led BJP government in Haryana. ALSO READ:-https://livendtv.com/india-canada-dispute-live-updates-2024/
