Rao IAS Coaching Center Flood News Live Update:-Three students of Rao’s IAS coaching center in new Delhi’s old Rajendra Nager died on Saturday evening after their basement library was flooded with heavy rain water. the national disaster response force (NDRF) completed a seven-hour search operation on Sunday, recovering the bodies. A case has been registered under sections 105, 106 (1), 115 (2), 290 and 35 of BNS. This case is against the coaching institute and the management of the building and those who were responsible for the maintenance of the drain of that place. Till now we have detained the owner and coordinator of that coaching center…Further investigation is underway: DCP Central M Harsh Vardhan.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) M Harsh Vardhan confirmed, “The NDRF search operation has ended, and three bodies have been recovered. The rescue operation lasted for about seven hours.”
Officials are examining CCTV footage to understand the sequence of events that led to the tragic incident. The bodies of two girl students and a boy were recovered from the spot during a joint rescue operation by NDRF, local police and fire department.

We are investigating how the basement got flooded so quickly.” Five fire engines were dispatched to the scene, where they found the basement flooded. Students protested demanding accountability from officials. Revenue Minister Atishi directed Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar to conduct an investigation and submit the report within 24 hours. Atishi posted on X, “A magisterial inquiry has been ordered to investigate this incident Whoever is responsible will not be spared.”
Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva and MP Bansuri Swaraj visited the spot and accused the AAP administration of negligence. Sachdeva said, “The criminal negligence of the Delhi government is responsible for this accident Jal Board Minister Atishi and local MLA Durgesh Pathak should take responsibility and resign.”
Preliminary investigation shows that there was a library in the basement, where many students were studying when the flood occurred. Ropes were used to rescue the trapped people. Floating furniture added to the rescue challenges. The identity of the deceased students has not been disclosed.
