Mohammed Asfan’s brother, Mohammed Imran, has voiced worry at the confirmation of his brother’s demise and stated that the agents responsible for trapping Asfan had to be taken into custody.

Mohammed Asfan also got in touch with the agents, telling them that they were receiving weaponry training, but the agents once more misled him, claiming it was a requirement of the job. However, Mohammed Imran claimed that the boys were later brought to the border between Russia and Ukraine.
Mohammed Imran claimed that they recently spoke with the agents, who informed them that Asfan’s contract had been terminated. Additionally, he was told that Mohammed Asfan was hurt.
Asaduddin Owaisi, the party’s leader, phoned the Indian embassy in Moscow, according to AIMIM sources who spoke with news agency PTI. This was in response to Mohammed Asfan’s family continuously contacting him about this matter over the previous few days.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Imran asserted that Russian operatives with whom he is in contact are claiming that Mohammad Asfan is still alive and is currently in the Ukrainian territory of Marinca. On February 16, they called off their deal with a different source. Mohammed Asfan told news agency ANI, “Agents are saying he is alive, but the embassy says he is dead.”
