PM Modi strike on Sharad Pawar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi maintained his criticism of NCP leader Sharad Pawar on Tuesday, claiming that during his tenure as Union agriculture minister, he did not accomplish much for farmers, a day after calling Pawar a “wandering soul.”
“Farmers used to make rounds of sugarcane commission for their arrears when a big Maharashtra leader was Union agriculture minister,” Prime Minister Modi remarked during a rally in Malshiras, in the Solapur district of Maharashtra.
