About his wife Smita Gate, who works as the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) at the MP Human Rights Commission, actor Nitish Bharadwaj is rumored to have lodged a police complaint against her for bullying and disruptive behavior. A Free Press Journal article states that on Wednesday, Nitish made contact with the Bhopal commissioner of police (CP). Allegedly, he has filed a formal grievance against his spouse.

According to the newspaper, Nitish accused Smita in his lawsuit of preventing him from meeting their twin children, Shivranjani and Devyani. Additionally, he reportedly claimed that his wife had been forcing him to miss their kids’ school functions in order to prevent him from seeing them, which had negatively impacted his mental health.
He reportedly asked the CP to step in and make sure he could meet his girls in this circumstance. Phalguni Dixit, the investigating officer, has reportedly been tasked with looking into the situation, according to the report.

After 12 years of marriage, Nitish Bharadwaj and his IAS wife Smita filed for divorce. 2009 saw their wedding, and September 2019 saw their breakup. Smita presently resides in Indore with their daughters.

He earlier told Times of India, “All I can say is that sometimes divorce can be more painful than death as you live with an amputated core,” in reference to their ongoing divorce lawsuit.
When a family disintegrates, the kids suffer the most. Therefore, even though he feels “unlucky” when it comes to marriage, he continued, “the onus is on the parents to ensure that there is minimal collateral damage that their children have to go through.”
Nitish’s most well-known character is Lord Krishna from the popular television series Mahabharat, which starred BR Chopra. He has appeared in a number of well-known TV series and motion pictures, including Samantar seasons 1-2, Kedarnath, Mohenjo Daro, and Vishnu Puran.
