Netaji’s birth anniversary: To commemorate Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary, Red Fort will host Parakram Diwas events, in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to take part. In addition, he will inaugurate Bharat Parv, a nine-day celebration that will highlight the nation’s rich variety and display many traditions.
“In line with the vision of the prime minister to take steps to duly honour the contribution of luminaries who played a significant role in the freedom struggle, the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was started being celebrated as Parakram Diwas in 2021,” the PMO said in a statement.
From January 23 to January 31, Bharat Parv will take place. Among other things, it will feature Republic Day tableaus created by 26 Union ministries, highlight citizen-centric projects, and promote local, varied tourism destinations.

In front of the Red Fort, near Madhav Das Park and Ram Leela Maidan, the ceremony will begin.
The PMO stated that the event this year will be a complex celebration that skillfully blends historical insights and colorful cultural manifestations. It also added that the festivities will explore the significant legacy of Azad Hind Fauj and Netaji, as Bose was known.
The occasion will feature an exhibition of Bose’s rare photo archives as well as documentation detailing the incredible voyage of Netaji and the Azad Hind Fauj.
