On Tuesday, when the temple gates were opened to the public, a large number of devotees arrived in Ayodhya to pay their respects to Ram Lalla. The chief priest of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Acharya Satyendra Das expressed his joy at this development. According to him, the temple town has returned to the era of the “Treta Yug,” which is thought to be the second of the four Yugas in Hinduism and the period when Lord Ram was thought to have lived.
“Pran Pratishtha has made the Nagari (of Ayodhya) pure. When Lord Ram returned during the Treta Yug, the Ayodhya Nagari was ecstatic. We might see a hint of the Treta Yug today. It seems that we have returned to Ayodhya during the Treta Yug era because so many Bhakts have come here and Jai Shree Ram shouts are resonating here, the top priest remarked.
The head priest added that because of the large number of people gathered for “darshan,” not everyone will be able to pay homage to Lord Ram today. “So much crowd has gathered here today that not everyone will be able to have darshan today and the same crowd will be visible tomorrow and for the next few days,” he stated.
According to the Acharya, the reason for the large number of people was because 4,000 saints traveled from all over the nation to the city. Everybody brought between two and four persons.
According to Satyendra Das’ statement on Pran Pratishtha on Monday, the ceremony will mark the start of Ram Rajya and the end of all inequality.
“Everyone will act in a loving manner. All of the country will experience a stunning transformation beginning in Ayodhya. And there will be harmony among all. We shall coexist amicably. Everybody will receive Lord Ram’s benediction, he had previously stated.
Record-breaking throng
Following the consecration of the idol of Lord Ram on Monday, the temple opened its doors to the public this morning. Late on Monday night, locals and tourists congregated close to the main entrance of the Ram Path that leads to the temple complex in hopes of gaining early access the next morning.
There is an extraordinary number of people on the “Bhakti Path,” which ascends to the temple. It’s being managed by the cops with ropes and roadblocks.
Several lakh people have arrived in the city, according to the Ayodhya administration; this figure was not predicted by the government. A large number of people are using the 13-kilometer RamPath, almost the whole way.
To avoid any adverse occurrences, an additional force, comprising the Rapid Action Force (RAF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SB), and civil police, has been stationed near Ram Path.
