NEET UG 2024 Live Update:- the supreme court will on Monday hear petition related to the national eligibility cum entrance test (NEET) UG exam held this year, according to the cause list dated July 8 upload on the court’s website. the supreme court will once again hear petition related to the direction to conduct the medical entrance exam amid allegations of alleged irregularities and paper leaks in the NEET UG 2024 exam. according to PTI report, a bench of chief justice DY Chandrachud, justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Mishra will hear 38 petitions related to the NEET UG 2024.
recently, the center and the national test agency (NTA), which is responsible for conducting the NEET UG 2024 exam, recently told the supreme court that canceling the exam would be “counterproductive” and there would be no risk of any massive breach of privacy. in the absence of evidence, lakhs of honest candidates are “seriously endangered ” will put in”. NEET UG 2024 EXAM was conducted on may 5 across hundreds of centers across india and the results were declared ten days a head of schedule i.e. on June 4 NTA gave full mark dozens of students in the exam, including 67 toppers in the medical exam this year. student and organizations protested against this and demanded re- examination of NEET UG, alleging irregularities in the marking system used by NTA. many student also alleged paper leakage in multiple centers and said that most of the toppers and high scorers belonged to a specific region or exam center. the center and NTA told the court on 13 June that they have canceled the grace marks given to 1,563 candidates. they were given the option to either retake the exam or forgo compensation marks given for loss of time. Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured medical aspirants in the Rajya Sabha on July 3 that the government will not spare those who play with the future. NTA released the result of the re-examination held on June 23 of 813 (out of 1563) candidates on July 1.
Tamil Nadu minister and DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin was quoted by ANI as saying, “All of you have already decided to vote for the DMK… It is the DMK that raised its voice against the NEET exam and now it is the DMK that has voted against it in the northern states.” Leaders have started opposing itIt is BJP which is against it (protest against NEET exam) and PMK is in alliance with them and is fighting this by-election, so I ask all of you to defeat them in this by-election.
