Famous actor Govinda issued an audio tape in which he thanked his fans for their blessings, just hours after he arrived in a Mumbai hospital with a bullet wound to his leg. The actor’s licensed gun misfired, resulting in an injury below the knee.
The 60-year-old actor can be heard saying in a raspy voice that he was spared by the good fortune of his parents, guru, and admirers. “A bullet did strike me, but it was removed. In the audio tape, he stated, “I thank the doctors here and your prayers.”
As he was preparing to head to the airport to catch a flight to Kolkata this morning, the actor sustained the injury at approximately 4:45 a.m. At the time of the occurrence, the actor—a leader of the Shiv Sena as well—was by himself.
Govinda was storing his licenced handgun in a cupboard when it dropped to the ground and exploded, according to his manager Shashi Sinha. The projectile struck him below the knee. The actor gave his management and his wife, Sunita Ahuja, who was in Kolkata, a call. He was taken to the neighboring Criticare Hospital by police as soon as they arrived at his Juhu residence. According to the actor’s manager, his health is stable. His daughter Tina is with him while he remains in the hospital.
Govinda Sends Audio Message from Hospital After Unintentional Shooting Injuries Her.
According to police, the actor hasn’t filed any complaints. I had arrived at the airport in preparation for our 6 am trip to Kolkata for a show. When this disaster occurred, Govinda ji was ready to leave his home for the airport, according to the actor’s manager. The actor was carrying his licensed pistol when it fell from his hand and unintentionally fired, according to his manager Shashi Sinha. Govinda was hit by the bullet below the knee.
