For the past four weeks, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev has been experiencing excruciating headaches. On March 8, he led a Maha Shivaratri ceremony in spite of suffering. The well-known spiritual teacher Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev experienced “life-threatening” bleeding in his skull and needed emergency brain surgery at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals in New Delhi.
According to a top medical official’s statement on Wednesday, the patient is presently doing well. According to the hospital, Sadhguru had been experiencing excruciating headaches for the past four weeks. He carried on his regular daily routine, social engagements, and even organized a Maha Shivaratri function on March 8 despite the intensity of the discomfort.

What was said about Sadhguru by the hospital?
By March 15, Sadhguru’s headache had gotten worse to the point where he saw senior consultant neurologist Dr. Vinit Suri at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals in Delhi at approximately 3:45 p.m.A subdural hematoma was promptly suspected by Dr. Vinit Suri, who also recommended an urgent MRI. At 4:30 p.m. on the same day, Sadhguru had an MRI of his brain performed at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, which revealed extensive brain bleeding.

On March 17, Dr. Suri claims that Sadhguru said, “Now is the time for you to perform the procedure,” when he finally consented to be admitted.On March 17, Sadhguru experienced a sharp decline in his neurological condition. A CT scan of his head was performed immediately, and the results showed a significant rise in cerebral edema and a potentially fatal lateralization of the brain.
Under the care of a medical team that included Drs. Vinit Suri, Pranav Kumar, Sudheer Tyagi, and S Chatterjee, Sadhguru underwent an emergency brain surgery to stop the bleeding in his skull a few hours after being admitted. After surgery, Sadhguru was weaned off of the ventilator.Sadhguru’s body, mind, and vital signs have all improved as he has made consistent improvement.
