Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal has taken to criticizing the BJP government for allegedly arresting members of the Aam Aadmi Party one by one, including his personal assistant Bibhav Kumar, in his initial response to the Swati Maliwal case. He has refrained from naming the Rajya Sabha MP.
A defiant Mr. Kejriwal stated that the Aam Aadmi Party cannot be “crushed” and, laying down the gauntlet, said he would accompany all of his senior leaders to the BJP headquarters in Delhi at noon on Sunday, so that the ruling party could potentially arrest them all at once.
Mr. Kejriwal stated, “You are seeing how these people have been after the Aam Aadmi Party,” in a Hindi video message on Saturday. They have started locking up our leaders one after another. My personal assistant was detained today by the same people that jailed me, former deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, former minister Satyendar Jain, and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh.
The leader of the Aam Aadmi Party, who is free on temporary bail till June 2, stated that the BJP now intends to detain Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha of his party. Chadha met with the party leader earlier in the day after returning from London following eye surgery. He asserted that they also have Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj, two ministers in Delhi.
Reiterating an accusation he has made on other occasions, Mr. Kejriwal claimed that the AAP’s main transgressions were that it had constructed excellent government schools and mohalla clinics and offered free, continuous energy, something the BJP would not be able to accomplish.

AAP has claimed that the former DCW chief is facing arrest in an illegal recruitment case and that the BJP was also “blackmailing” him to be part of a “conspiracy” against Kejriwal.
He said that the prime minister was “playing the game” by putting prominent members of the AAP in jail, including Manish Sisodia, Satyendar Jain, and Sanjay Singh.
According to Kejriwal, the BJP will also imprison Delhi ministers Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj, as well as AAP MP Raghav Chadha.
