CM Atishi Breaking News 2024:- Bharatiya Janata Party has opposed the new Chief Minister of Delhi Atishi saying that she should not have insulted the people of Delhi by keeping a vacant chair next to her. Atishi took charge as the Chief Minister of Delhi on Monday. When Atishi reached to take charge, an empty chair was also seen next to her. Describing about this chair, Atishi said that this chair will remain in this room till Kejriwal’s return and this chair will be waiting for Kejriwal.
Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) termed Atishi’s decision as sycophancy. Taking aim at Atishi, Delhi BJP District President Virendra Sachdeva said, ‘By his action, Atishi has hurt the dignity of the post of Chief Minister of Delhi as well as the sentiments of the people of Delhi. This is not an ideal observance, it is sycophancy in plain language. Arvind Kejriwal should answer whether he will run the Delhi government with such remote control?
Let us tell you that as soon as he took charge on Monday, Atishi said, ‘Today I have Bharat’s pain in my mind. BJP left no stone unturned in slinging mud on Arvind Kejriwal. Arvind Kejriwal said that until the people of Delhi prove his honesty, he will not sit on the chair and resigned. The people of Delhi will once again appoint Arvind Kejriwal as the Chief Minister. Let us tell you that former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had resigned from the post of Chief Minister on September 17. After the resignation of Kejriwal, the legislature party of Aam Aadmi Party elected Atishi as the new Chief Minister of Delhi in his place. Kejriwal had submitted his resignation to Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena. Along with this, Atishi had also submitted a letter to the LG staking his claim to form the new government. The resignation and the letter were sent by the Lieutenant Governor to the President.
After the announcement of her name, Atishi had said that she would remain the CM only till the upcoming elections and when AAP government is formed again, Kejriwal would become the CM. Atishi had also said that I have only two jobs till the next elections. First, ‘to protect the people of Delhi from the conspiracy of BJP’.
