Rahul Gandhi’s first address in the Lok Sabha under the LoP stirs political controversy; BJP leaders demand an apology and accuse him of spreading “Hindu hatred and lies.”
Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticised Rahul Gandhi’s comments made at US events today, claiming that the Congressman’s habit of standing with “forces that conspire to divide the country” has been the Congressman’s norm.
Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party have made it a habit to stand with those that plot to split the nation and to make anti-national remarks. Rahul Gandhi has consistently endangered national security and offended feelings, Mr. Shah said in a statement. “Whether he is endorsing the JKNC’s anti-national and anti-reservation agenda in J&K or making anti-India speeches on foreign platforms

Rahul Gandhi’s remarks expose the Congress’s policy of sowing divisions along linguistic, religious, and regional lines. Rahul Gandhi has once again highlighted the Congress’s opposition to reservations by advocating for the country’s reservations to be eliminated. Eventually, the ideas running through his head came out as words,” he continued.
“I want to tell Rahul Gandhi that as long as the BJP is there, neither can anyone abolish reservations nor can anyone mess with the nation’s security,” the Home Minister said.
Mr. Shah was replying to Mr. Gandhi’s statements made during a conversation with Georgetown University students in the United States.
When asked about reservations, Mr. Gandhi said, “We will think of scrapping reservations when India is a fair place and India is not a fair place.”
In response, the BJP claimed that the Congress leader’s fight to preserve the Constitution was a “charade” and that his obvious hostility to reservations was evident.
Senior BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad stated that Rahul Gandhi’s opposition to reservation is his legacy, adding that previous prime ministers Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, and Rajiv Gandhi had all opposed caste-based quota.
Mr. Prasad stated that other opposition figures in India, such as DMK leader M K Stalin, RJD head Lalu Prasad, Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav, and Left party officials, ought to voice their opinions over Mr. Gandhi’s statements. I wish to caution the people that the BJP will fiercely oppose any attempt by the Congress to remove or modify the reservation provision,” he declared.
It’s important to consider the BJP’s attack on Rahul Gandhi in light of the impending Assembly elections in crucial states like Maharashtra and Jharkhand. In a bid to sway voters, the party—which is reeling from this time’s lower Lok Sabha poll result—wants to use Mr. Gandhi’s comments to paint the opposition as anti-reservation.

For the first time since taking office, Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha, spoke before the House on Monday. He attacked the BJP-led NDA administration on a number of fronts, including how Hinduism was portrayed, using an image of Lord Shiva to make his point. In addition, he raised concerns about Agniveer, the NEET-UG paper leak, and problems impacting farmers, which prompted responses from ruling party members.
When Gandhi said, “those who call themselves Hindu only talk about violence,” it caused a ruckus in the House. Along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, his words caused a massive ruckus from the Treasury benches.
Congress’s symbol is Abhayamudra. In Hinduism, Islam, Sikhism, Buddhism, and other Indian religions, the Abhaya Mudra is a gesture of fearlessness, certainty, and safety that banishes fear and bestows divine protection and happiness in return. All of our great men have talked about ending fear and using nonviolence. However, individuals identifying as Hindus only discuss violence, bigotry, and falsehoods.Rahul Gandhi remarked, “Aap Hindu ho hi nahi.
