Armstrong, a lawyer by profession, was elected to the Chennai corporation council in 2006. tow years ago, he came into limelight after organizing a big rally in Chennai and inviting BSP Chief Mayawati to it. In a post on Mayawati described Armstrong as a strong voice of Dalits and demanded punishment for the culprits.
He wrote, “The gruesome murder of Tamil Nadu State Bahujan Semaj Party (BSP) President Shri K Armstrong outside his residence in Chennai is highly condemnable and condemnable.
