Renowned actor Shreyas Talpade, who has acted in Hindi and Marathi films, had an angioplasty recently after suffering a heart attack while filming “Welcome To Jungle,” his next project. He was rushed right away to Bellevue Hospital in the Andheri neighborhood of Mumbai, where medical professionals have determined that he is now stable. A deflated balloon is inserted into the afflicted artery during an angioplasty procedure, which is used to treat narrowed or blocked blood vessels, especially in the heart, in order to increase blood flow.
Imagine constantly having to deal with high risk factors. According to Dr. Nishith Chandra, Principal Director of Interventional Cardiology at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute in New Delhi, that is what chronic stress accomplishes.

The actor Shreyas Talpade overworked himself for 28 years, putting in long hours at the office and never checking himself into the hospital. Despite having heart disease in his family history and risk factors such as high cholesterol, he never slowed down. Based on his most recent Instagram post, that’s what ultimately led to his heart attack. We don’t give ourselves or our families enough credit. He wrote, “We think we have time,” highlighting the negative effects of work-related stress.

ToggleIMPACT OF STRESS AND OVEREXERTION ON THE HEART
A world where deadlines are everything is bound to involve stress. Dr. Chandra states that as a result, “Any 30-year-old should get an annual check-up done, particularly post-COVID, when the heart attack risk has clearly gone up.” However, those with a family history of cardiomyopathy and those who are already in their 20s should exercise caution. All you need to do is get an annual blood cholesterol and sugar check, treadmill, echocardiogram, and ECG. He even recommends routine GP check-ups in order to address and monitor any red flags before seeing a cardiologist.
METHODS TO DECREASE STRESS
The 47-year-old actor’s admirers and followers were taken aback by the incident because he seemed well. Dr. Ajay Kaul, a cardiologist at Fortis Hospital in Noida, corrected the myth that heart attacks are limited to the elderly or those with known risk factors, telling TOI that younger people can also have heart attacks. There are other, less well-known factors that lead to early heart attacks, even though genetics and lifestyle choices do affect heart health.
