Arsenal lost 2-0 to West Ham, their first home loss of the season, and lost the opportunity to take the lead in the Premier League standings.
The home team was in the lead early on, but Tomas Soucek’s goal in the first half put them ahead. This was confirmed after a protracted VAR check failed to identify whether the ball had left play during the build-up.
Despite having never defeated Arsenal on the road as a manager, David Moyes’ team advanced in the victory column after the interval thanks to a header from a corner by former defender Konstantinos Mavropanos.

He’s beginning to get that desire to score in his eyes. He is much braver in the air than most people realize, and he is an excellent finisher.
Regarding the January transfer window: “There will always be a role for injuries.” We don’t seem to have a lot of money. January is never a simple month. We must inspect the window. With Kudus heading to the Africa Cup of Nations, we will be losing out. He’s got
Speaking to Amazon Prime following his team's victory, David Moyes
