Dhinakaran on June 20 on his social media account highlighted the “complete failure” of the State government in response to the incident. He criticized the actions taken against the District Collector and Superintendent of Police as merely a “cover-up.” Instead of attempting to conceal its flaws in the name of conducting searches and making arrests, the government should conduct a thorough investigation and implement strict measures against those at fault, he insisted.
