Chief Minister Atishi gave this information on Wednesday. He said that instructions have been issued to all the electricity corporations regarding this.
Chief Minister Atishi said that lakhs of people living in unauthorized buildings were not the priority of the government earlier. The government lagged behind in giving them suggestions. But after the formation of Arvind Kejriwal government in Delhi, all the stucco work was done to prevent burglary. Atishi said that many people have come to him regarding this problem. He told that he has been searching for electricity connection for the last one year because he is not able to get the NOMI from DDA. To solve this problem, Delhi Government has decided that DDA NOSI will not be required to book electricity meters in the pipeline.
In this regard, Delhi government has issued instructions to all the discom societies. As before, it has been suggested to provide electricity to them under the normal procedure.
