Fifteen hours after his arrest, the 17-year-old driver of the Porsche that struck a bike in Pune on Saturday night, killing a man and a woman, was released on bond. According to his attorney, Prashant Patil,
the kid was given bail with some restrictions, including working with Yerwada traffic police for 15 days, writing an essay about accidents, getting treatment for his alcoholism, and attending counselling sessions. The defendant is the well-known Pune realtor’s son.

In 15 minutes, according to the eyewitness, police arrived at the scene.
It has been discovered that the kid was coming home with his pals from a bar where they were celebrating passing their Class 12 examinations. He is four months away from becoming eighteen, which is the legal age in India to obtain a driver’s license.
A friend of one of the victims filed a complaint, and a FIR was filed under the provisions pertaining to reckless driving and death by negligence. Police have stated that charges against the teen’s father and the bar that provided him with booze are also likely.
Since this is a “heinous crime,” Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar stated that police had asked the court to consider the accused as an adult and had requested his custody. He stated the police will file a complaint against the bail ruling with the sessions court.
“An action has also been taken against the father of the minor accused, who gave him the automobile to drive without a license plate and permitted him to visit a bar. He continued, “There have also been actions taken against the institution that sold alcohol.
A “watertight case is being made out” according to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, who is now investigating the issue. It’s obvious that the boy was driving while intoxicated, according to the police commissioner. Numerous witnesses have reported that the boy and his companions were inebriated.
